On The Way

Our Process

When a new member is accepted into the OnTheWay program, we work diligently though our five (5) step process to move soldiers from the battlefield to the workforce. Moving through each step of our process provides the greatest opportunity for a successful, meaningful, and long-term transition back to civilian life. Along the way, members receive help and guidance to build additional skills, confidence, friendships and more…

  1. Interest
    • Each individual has strengths and weaknesses. We work to identify those areas of strength that best suit our member’s individual interests while also providing the greatest opportunity for success.

  2. Target Opportunities
    • Once we’ve worked through and identified interests, we take aim. Focusing our efforts by targeting specific opportunities that best fit each member’s interests.

  3. Ramp Up
    • Hands-on training and integration to the civilian workforce to capitalize on strengths and interests. Ramping UP to succeed in a new career, our members will roll through hands-on learning as well as additional training resources.

  5. OnTheWay
    • That’s right. Members are ready to fly on their own and begin a mentorship for a new On The Way member. Experiencing and completing our program give you a unique opportunity to give back and provide assistance to another veteran.
